New computer forecast models for Hurricane Maria which violently struck Puerto Rico, are raising concerns about a North Carolina Landfall, and for serious effects from North Carolina to New York City, especially along the NEW JERSEY Shore.

The United Nations is located at 1st Avenue and 42nd Street. The use of public transportation for the duration of the General Assembly is highly encouraged.

URGENT: HURRICANE JOSE' MAY BE DO-OVER OF "THE ASH WEDNESDAY STORM OF 1962"

The most recent European Computer Model is out as of 3:15 PM Sunday, September 17 and it shows Hurricane Jose' MUCH CLOSER to the shore than ever before; commencing its effects on New Jersey early Tuesday and both NJ and NYC throughout Tuesday-Wednesday.  But while the "eye" may not make landfall, something worse seems to be in the works . . .

Tropical Storm Watch Issued for New Jersey and New York City

The National Hurricane Center has issued a Tropical Storm Watch for the coast of New Jersey and all of New York City effective Sunday Evening, September 17.  Hurricane Jose is traveling north along the US East Coast and will begin to impact NJ and NYC early Tuesday Morning.  Winds will begin increasing Monday night, reaching Tropical Storm Force MINIMUM 39 MPH, up to a Maximum of 73 MPH during Monday and overnight into Tuesday. Prepare immediately!

Hurricane Jose Expected in NJ / NYC Area in THREE DAYS; We could get a Rough Ride, A direct Hit -- or nothing . . .

UPDATED SUNDAY 9-17-2017 @ 8:00 AM EDT (SEE BOTTOM) -- Hurricane Jose is moving northwest in the Atlantic Ocean, heading toward the New Jersey and New York City area by Tuesday, but that's about the ONLY thing which is certain as of 8:30 AM Saturday Morning.  The NYC/NJ area could get anything from a "rough ride" to a "direct hit" or "nothing."  Forecasters just don't know.  It's time to prepare, just in case.
