A teacher at Memorial High School in West New York was arrested by East Rutherford police after being accused of drug possession.

East Rutherford police responded to Kenneth Furlong apartment at Monarch Apartments on Nov. 29 for an unknown incident, said Chief Dennis Rivelli. Following an investigation, Furlong, 24, is facing several drug charges, including possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled dangerous substance cocaine, possession of marijuana over 50 grams.

Furlong turned himself into the East Rutherford Police Department with his attorney and  was taken to the Bergen County Jail. Police are still investigating, Rivelli said
