There are some big problems for PATH trains Tuesday morning. PATH stands for Port Authority Trans-Hudson and these are the commuter trains that travel between New Jersey and Manhattan New York City every four minutes during Rush Hour.
The trouble is with rail switches between Hoboken and New York City.
The HOB-WTC (Hoboken-World Trade Center) line, HOB-33 (Hoboken to 33rd St.) line and JSQ-33 (Journal Square to 33rd St.) line are all suspended because of a switch failure at Hoboken.
Delays are huge and growing. They are expected to continue.
UPDATE 10:25 AM -- Switch trouble has been fixed. Full service resumes with delays.
