BREAKING NEWS 6: 15 PM EST -- The House of Representatives Permanent Committee on Intelligence, has voted to DECLASSIFY a four page memo which reportedly outlines severe abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) by the persons at the highest levels of the FBI and the Department of Justice.

The memo will now be made public provided the President does not object.

UPDATE 6:23 PM EST --

In a stunning surprise announcement, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) made known that the House Permanent Committee on Intelligence has FORMALLY OPENED INVESTIGATIONS INTO THE FBI and INTO THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE!

UPDATE 6:49 PM EST --

A Chief Executive, President Trump speaks for the ENTIRE Executive Branch, (i.e. all the "alphabet agencies") and if he agrees to reveal the memo, then it gets revealed regardless of what agencies under him may want.  In fact, since the President speaks for his entire Branch of Government, it is POSSIBLE that he reads the memo tonight (if he hasn't already) and agrees to release it tonight . . . or tomorrow.  But he only has five days to "object" or else the memo comes out publicly.

More . . . The memo is redacted.  It conceals WHO did certain things.  But it DOES reveal WHAT was done.  And it is this "WHAT" that makes the memo so important.

We are likely to see that the FBI literally manufactured "intelligence" to give themselves "probable cause" to apply to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) for authority to spy on AMERICANS.  It is also likely to reveal that the FBI knew it was using manufactured evidence and failed to tell that to the FISA Court.

Lying on government documents is a crime and lying to a court is a crime.  This could be VERY bad for quite a number of highly powerful people in the FBI and the DOJ.  Some of them may actually be sent to prison for this.

This is a fast-developing story, check back for updates.
