The National Weather Service had issued a "Flash Flood Warning" for Oklahoma City today as threatening thunderstorms approached. That "warning" has now been upgraded to a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY because it is actually taking place.
Residents in and around Oklahoma City are being told to take shelter indoors, and if their area appears to be flooding, to flee for their lives immediately!

Officials say that "This is an extremely dangerous and life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order".
