President Donald Trump has nominated Brett Kavanaugh  to be the next Justice of the Supreme Court.

Trump introduced his nominee as “a judge’s judge” and cited his “proven commitment to equal justice under the law.”

Trump announced Kavanaugh as his pick Monday night on prime-time television.

The 53-year-old Kavanaugh is a longtime fixture of the Republican establishment. He has been a judge on the federal appeals court in Washington since 2006. He also was a key aide to Kenneth Starr during the investigation of President Bill Clinton. Kavanaugh also worked in the White House during George W. Bush’s presidency.

Trump says Kavanaugh has “impeccable credentials and unsurpassed qualifications.”

Trump made the announcement in the East Room of the White House and rousing applause broke out as Kavanaugh entered with his wife and two daughters.

Trump chose the 53-year-old federal appellate judge for the seat opened up by the retirement of Justice Anthony Kennedy. Kavanaugh would be less receptive to abortion and gay rights than Kennedy was.

Kavanaugh is Trump’s second high court pick after Justice Neil Gorsuch. Kavanaugh and Gorsuch served as law clerks to Kennedy at the same time early in their legal careers.

Brett was a fought over appointment to the DC bench in 2006, only getting through a 3 year delay by dem/rino payoffs.

He was the lead investigator running the cover up of Vincent Foster (covering Hillary Clinton's ass, another political assassination. Remember to not have your deadman's switch in your employer's office safe, dumbass).

He was an attorney covering up the real crimes of Billy Boy Clinton, having a load blown on an irrelevant woman's dress as the issue, in the Star Report, when the real issue was Billy boy selling US military secrets to China among other things. Only for Billy boy, can China now drop nukes where they actually aim at on US cities, military installations and other HVT.

Again, Trump, the Jokester, picks something that would most cause strife, without giving conservatives a win. This guy is DEEP STATE to the point of documented acts covering murder(s) and treason of a DEMOCRATIC president.

    Kabuki Theater is getting boring.

Those were my thoughts as I read what Hal wrote about his creds. Are you kidding me?! And he has said that abortion on demand is "settled law"?! This was not what the Trump supporters I know wanted when they elected him.
