At 331 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain and severe
flash flooding across the warned area. Over 6 inches of rain
inches of rain have fallen in 4 hours near Mount Joy. Severe flash
flooding is already occurring.
This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Rapho, Mount Joy and Manheim
Townships. Multiple water rescues are ongoing, with numerous roads
flooded and impassable, and in some cases washed away. This is a
PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!

Lancaster, Elizabethtown, Columbia, Lititz, Millersville, Willow
Street, Mount Joy, Manheim, East Petersburg, Salunga-Landisville,

Move to higher ground now. This is an extremely dangerous and life-
