The Emergency Response to Hurricane Florence kicked into High gear before the storm has even made landfall. Emergency Responders from as far away as Los Angeles California are already well into their trip across country, to help the people affected.
Picture above are units from the Los Angeles County Fire Department, on an Interstate Highway in New Mexico yesterday, already on their way to Raleigh, North Carolina.
Elements from other places are also on the way, including from the New York City Police, NY Fire Department, Heavy Rescue trucks from my home state of New Jersey equipped with every imaginable piece of rescue gear, and countless additional help from many, many other states.
They're going to need all that help. Overnight, Hurricane Florence nearly DOUBLED in Size. The storm is now over seven hundred miles wide:
THIS . . . this is America. THIS is what we're REALLY about. We help each other. We look out for each other. God Bless the United States of America!
