Deputy Assistant Director Andrew McCabe of the FBI has RESIGNED effective immediately.  McCabe is a central figure in the blossoming scandals surrounding the wiretapping of then-Presidential-Candidate Donald Trump, and McCabe is allegedly featured prominently in a memo outlining abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA); said memo to be released to the public as early as this week.

Last week, the Daily Beast reported former FBI Director James Comey, bureau Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein are officially named in the “shocking” FISA abuse memo.

According to the Washington Post, McCabe intended to resign from the FBI once he was eligible for full pension benefits in March.
