The Israeli military launched fighter aircraft against Syria today, firing multiple missiles at the T4 military base near Homs, Syria.

To their surprise, Syrian air defenses not only intercepted "most" of the air-launched missiles, but also "hit" an Israeli fighter jet, forcing it - and others -- to flee!  There is no claim that any jet was actually shot down, but multiple sources confirm one was hit.

According to covert intelligence sources from non-US-government entities with whom I used to work during my time with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, the Israeli attack effort "completely failed."

"Somehow, the Syrians got tipped-off about the coming attack and they were ready when Israel tried to strike" one source told me.

Israel last attacked the T4 Base in April, and inflicted heavy damage on that base.

According to Debka.com there was no airstrike. It appears to be a ruse designed by Assad to scuttle the Trump Putin Helsinki summit.

Syria really should take back the Golan Heights. They will never be safe from Israeli aggression until they can install early warning systems on the heights.

Netanyahu must have agreed to allow this so that Russian weaponry is not totally discredited on the intl stage. Syrian spent billions on it and its been junk for 7 yrs now and Russia couldnt sell it. Putin-Netanyahu deal?

I doubt it. I am willing to give the Russian military more credit than 'Bibi let them win this time'. I don't think Russian military assets would be deployed in Syria if it was believed that the IDF could just swat them aside like flies.

I agree. Given Russian military research has gone into DEFENSIVE weapons, like anti-ballistic and anti-aircraft/drone/cruise missiles, they are 2 generations ahead, and why Turkey and India are buying the S400, which is better than the THAAD PAC3 combo, for 10x less money...and the S500s will be deployed soon.

When you're not trying to take over the world like the US NWO hegemony, things get way simpler.

I so can't wait until the luciferian pedo cannibal velvet mafia cabalist bankers all fall down. I'm a former medic, I'll be there to ensure they stay down if someone puts them down. Wah, Hippocrates? Evil does what it can because good men stay silent. No more, mofo. Keeping them down, is following my Hippocratic oath.

Ratnik body armour makes them mostly bulletproof and the armour suit's communications uplink makes it so it's like they're all playing a game of Counter-Strike or Call of Duty, they can press a button to talk to squadmates and they can hear orders with through an earpiece and they get something like a mini-map overlay, or at least this is what the mil-expo advertising I watched a while back gave me the impression it has. They are equipped to win, if they can manage to actually kit out infantry by the divisions in them, and Russia is able to effectively contest air superiority. Those will be the armies of the future, and that is why I fear for the Americans out there who have Red Dawn fantasies. Isn't that going to be a fun future when the skies darkens slightly with swarming robotic fedgov drones armed with supersonic munition, and the average GI is bulletproof? This is why I am so cynical, I guess. When the evil empire's missiles blot out the sun, will there be even 300 Americans (and maybe 6000 Mexican auxiliaries?) to fight in the shade?
