A strong Magnitude 6.2 earthquake has just struck Ecuador in South America.  The quake took place at a depth of only 19km and was very widely felt.

This comes just hours after a Severe Magnitude 8 earthquake struck near Fiji in the South Pacific.  That quake took place very deep in the earth, 608km and has apparently now set in-motion, another round of strong earthquakes elsewhere on the planet.

Just 25 minutes before this strong earthquake in Ecuador, a smaller but shallow M5.6 rocked nearby Panama.

Details of damage and injuries in Ecuador are sketchy right now.  This story will be updated  as info becomes available.

I lived in California for a few years, 20 miles from the Northridge quake. During that quake several Interstate highway over passes failed. People died.

Hal's warnings to be prepare for natural events and man made events should be the order of the day!

Hal, dutchsinse on youtube gives weekly earthquake forecasts...size and to mostly 200 miles, daily updates. Been doing this for 8 years and had scientific breakthroughs to enable his forecasting. Some of these now stolen by the professionals who denied and ridiculed for years. Explains so you learn.
