Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, on the sidelines of the United Nations said the U.S. military has failed to fulfill their obligation regarding their withdrawal from the Tanf Zone in southern Syria.
“We regret that the U.S. failed to meet its obligation to withdraw troops from Al-Tanf,” the Russian Foreign Minister said.
The Syrian military and US-backed rebels have begun talks to return the Tanf region in southern Syria to the government, a source in Damascus told me this morning.
According to the source, a Syrian government delegation met with the US-backed Jaysh Mughawir Al-Thorah group and the tribes at the Rukban camp began talks to reconcile with Damascus and to handover the Tanf region.
Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem ANNOUNCED at the United Nations General Assembly’s 73th session, that all unwelcome foreign forces must leave Syria immediately.
“All foreign forces not invited by the legitimate government must withdraw under no preconditions,” Muallem said.
Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil fired back at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over his recent allegations that Hezbollah has missiles stored in southern Beirut.
A magnitude 7.5 earthquake has struck in Indonesia, smashing parts of that country into rubble. The quake struck at 6:02 AM eastern US time at a shallow depth of 10km.
A local Tsunami is possible, but no alerts have yet been issued.

As of about 2:30 PM eastern US time today - Thursday, 27 September, 2018 -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjmain Netanyahu GAVE THE ORDER for the Israeli Air Force to conduct what I am told will be "massive" air attacks against numerous targets inside Syria.
I am also told the United States, the UK and France may participate in such strikes . . . against the brand new Syrian S-300 missile Defense Systems provided by Russia and against "other targets."
