UPDATE 11:15 PM EDT (SEE BOTTOM)
As of about 2:30 PM eastern US time today - Thursday, 27 September, 2018 -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjmain Netanyahu GAVE THE ORDER for the Israeli Air Force to conduct what I am told will be "massive" air attacks against numerous targets inside Syria.
I am also told the United States, the UK and France may participate in such strikes . . . against the brand new Syrian S-300 missile Defense Systems provided by Russia and against "other targets."
As of about 8:31 AM eastern US time on Tuesday, the Israeli Security Cabinet concluded its Emergency Meeting regarding events in Syria and ORDERED the IDF to continue making attacks into Syria!
This was done despite the arrival of Russian S-300 air defense systems which can shoot down Israeli war planes, despite the Russian military establishing a "No-Fly Zone" over Latakia Province and despite Israeli actions having already caused the shootdown of a Russian IL-20, killing 15 aboard.
This decision by the Israeli Cabinet may go down in infamy as the single act most directly responsible for starting World War 3.
The former head of Israeli Military Intelligence, Major General AmosYadlin, says that if Russia hands over to Syria the S300 air defense system, Israel will have no choice but to destroy it in spite of a risk of confrontation with Russia!
Behold: The first PHOTOGRAPHS of the S-300 Air Defense systems being unloaded from Russian Air Force Cargo Planes at a military air base in Syria. NO OTHER MEDIA OUTLET HAS THIS MATERIAL - Yet.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Russian President Vladimir Putin today strongly seeking a reversal of Russia's decision to supply the S-300 to Syria. Putin not only turned him down, he reiterated that Israel LIED to Russia about what took place causing the shoot-down of the Russian IL-20 Plane last week, and told Israel there is a price to be paid for lying. The Russian military has established a no-fly zone over the Latakia province of western Syria, Russian Senator and former Air Force commander Viktor Bondarev stated on Monday.
“The establishment of a no-fly zone over the Russian military base in Latakia will prevent a repeat of the IL-20 aircraft tragedy,” Bondarev told the Russian Federation’s Council this evening.
A Russian Su-35S air-superiority fighter jet of Russia’s Aerospace Force has intercepted and visually identified the U.S. F-22 Raptor Raptor combat aircraft flying over Syria.
Photographs, made by the infrared search and track fire control system of the Russian Su-35S, shows in infrared spectrum, an F-22 Raptor fighter jet flying over Syria.
