What began as a joke, has become an ugly reality. Earlier this year the Young America's Foundation jokingly issued a Petition for folks to sign, wherein Students would ask their peers to "Redistribute 4.0 Grade Point Averages" in college, "to someone less fortunate." Little did these folks know that the joke was already turning hideously real.
During this summer, various Professors, Department Heads, and Administrators at America's colleges have been meeting "causally" (i.e. secretly) to implement a new "Socialized" Grade Point Average system.
It will work like this: Any student with a GPA above 3.0 will have the tenth-points above 3.0 "pooled" or "socialized" for redistribution to students whose GPA are "most needy." This must be done, say the college employees "to be fair."
That means any student who has a 4.0 GPA, will lose the tenth-points from 3.0 to 4.0. which will be given to students with the lowest GPA's first, bringing them up as high as 3.0. if there are enough points to re-distribute.
The details of the plan have not yet been fully disclosed, but The Hal Turner Radio Show can confirm that the idea is being wholly embraced by almost every Ivy League School and by most of the largest Universities and Colleges in the nation.
Students had mixed reactions. "Jesse" at a New Jersey College rebuked the entire proposal saying "I bust my butt to get to all my classes, do all my assignments, submit all papers and projects. I work hard for my 4.0 GPA, why should I have to GIVE it to students who don't work as hard as me?"
A professor at the same school was taken aback by Jesse's statement, and tried repeatedly to get The Hal Turner Radio Show to disclose the full name of the student, which was not revealed. The professor said "This student is obviously a selfish supremacist. How dare he not be willing to help the neediest among our students. His is quite a bigoted view and there is no place for such selfishness in today's colleges."
Other students had similar misgivings. Gina Chirco said, "Some of us try our best but can only get GPA'sin the range of 3 - 3.5. It's a struggle. Now, to be forced into giving up our hard-earned GPA to others, makes me wonder why I struggled so hard at all? I could have just partied and not shown up and the school will cover for it. That doesn't seem right."
Another University professional, an Assistant Dean responded to this criticism saying "The only reason some kids do not show up to class, show up drunk or on drugs, or do not do well in class is because they have been severely disadvantaged their whole lives by our racist, sexist, white supremacist society. It is incumbent upon Educators to right these wrongs by "normalizing" the lives of the less fortunate and the fastest way to do that is by normalizing their collge grades."
Employers did not take kindly to the idea of such "socialization." One CEO from a Fortune 100 firm told me "This is not good for students or businesses. We in the business community need to know the people we're hiring are actually capable. We use college grades as a major indicator of that. If grades are arbitrarily altered to make all students equal, how will we in the business community know what we're getting? We'll have to implement our own testing systems to see if potential employees are truly skilled -- and weed-out the failures who were passed by such foolish college efforts."
When informed that a major Executive from the business community took such a position, the Assistant Dean who was quoted above earlier, replied "That's clearly a racist thing to do. Businesses who choose to test potential employees for actual abilities are merely re-implementing their white supremacist, merit-based employment. Meritocracy is a racist construct - and racist testing will not be upheld by the courts."
On one hand, this is poetic justice. Nowadays, we have all sorts of college kids telling the rest of us that Socialism is needed so that all people in the nation can live "fairly"--- which, to them translates into wealthy people paying double or triple in taxes to be given to "needy" people. Now it is those very college students who face the reality of losing their hard-earned Grade Point Averages in the name of "fairness."
Hey, College Kids, it's YOU FOLKS touting the benefits of Socialism, it's only fair you experience them first hand yourselves. Taking from "earners" and giving to the "needy" is what Socialism and Communism are all about. Wait. They didn't tell you about that in school? Gee, that's a shame, welcome to reality.
Socialism and Communism TAKE from earners and GIVE to non-earners in the name of "fairness." And anyone who disagrees with being forced to give up their hard-earned money is labeled racist, bigot, selfish, hatemonger, and a whole host of other things, to shut them up. It is only fitting that you college kids, ignorantly pushing Socialism, learn about it directly by being forced to give up YOUR hard-earned GPA's!
On the other hand, this will become a monstrosity for every single professional field. Can you imagine a brand new Neurosurgeon coming out of one of these colleges . . . with OTHER PEOPLE's Grade Point Averages? Would YOU want to be operated-on by such a "Doctor?"
Same thing with law schools. Would YOU want a "Lawyer" who had to have his GPA doubled because he was out getting drunk, high, and laid during college, to represent YOU in court?
What about Police and Firemen?
How about . . . electricians? Want someone who was failing Electrical engineering to be wiring YOUR house?
The potential pitfalls are everywhere.
Yet this is the Socialist mindset plaguing our nation.
For me, the best thing that can happen is for colleges who adopt such systems to be told NONE of their graduates will even be considered for jobs because the grading system of the college is fraudulent.
Once potential students find out their college degrees will actually work against them getting a job, students will leave those schools and the schools will either change, or go out of business.
Unless, of course, College Kids finally take a minute to actually THINK about what Socialism/Communism __actually_ are, and choose to stop supporting these evil ideas on their own. Maybe if enough college kids wake up to the reality and utter EVILS of Socialism and Communism, will schools walk away from this new GPA idea.
