I received this today, and frankly, I don't know what to make of it. But because of the immediate nature of the potential issue, I decided I should pass it along to all of you so YOU can decide for yourself.
This guy is basically saying that so many banks took such big hits settling their futures contracts last Friday, that one, Metropolitan Capital Bank in Chicago FAILED, and others are now restricting things like Wire transfers because they are so lacking liquidity.
He also claims that people have been moving money out of Regional Banks to the big shots for fear the regional banks are broke from bad commercial real estate loans, that many of them are now lacking liquidity, too.
He says Bank accounts may be FROZEN this coming Friday, and that YOU should make certain you have cash money at home to live on for a month or two, lest you find yourself locked out of your own bank account this Friday.
Personally, I decided to grab enough cash for me and my family to survive for a month. If I don't need it, I can always put the cash back. But I figure it is better for me to HAVE IT and not need it, than to NEED IT, and not have access to it.
