Both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Homeland Security have reportedly circulated internal ALERTS to government agencies and state/local law enforcement saying they have evidence that Iran has fully activated "Sleeper Cells" in the United States.
These "cells" are allegedly operatives with military experience familiar with explosives and methods of attack. They are allegedly intent on carrying out terrorist attacks..
It is believed the cells have been instructed to carry out attacks inside the United States beginning immediately. Today, and from here on out.
No specific targets are (yet) known, but it is believed the targets include famous hotels, airports, infrastructure, like the electric grid, water supply/treatment facilities, gas and oil pipelines - and gas/oil storage facilities, Railroads, key highway bridges at key highway intersections, and places where civilians gather in large numbers like Churches, shopping centers, and live concerts/sporting events.
There is a strident debate taking place within these agencies as to whether or not American citizens should be alerted. Authorities are concerned that it may create panic or may trigger vigilante actions against Muslims.
It is my view that this information should be conveyed to the American people so they can be aware of what MAY be planned, and be VIGILANT.
Situational awareness seems to me, to be imperative. Look around. Analyze what you see going on around you. If the hair on the back of your neck stands-up, there's a reason for it; take notice. Be aware. Take deliberate action to avoid potential trouble.
Those of you who are legally allowed to possess and or carry firearms, should do so for the protection of yourself and your family.
If you see something, say something. Tell authorities if you see something that "just isn't right" or strikes you as a potential danger.
