The closing of the Strait of Hormuz is beginning to have tangible negative results, worldwide. 107 Gas Stations in New South Wales, Australia are now SOLD OUT of all Diesel Fuel!
According to local media, farmers engaged in "Panic Buying" and grabbed all the diesel fuel in the entire region! And it is quite a large region as seen on the image below:
Now, there is still Diesel Fuel available to be delivered to "many" of those stations, but the real question is "How many?"
Australia gets over 90% of refined fuel from Asian hubs like Korea and Singapore, which source about 30–80% of their crude from the Middle East. That source is now offline.
Australia does NOT have large reserves of Diesel fuel and if it runs out, there will be no truck deliveries . . . anywhere.
