As of 6:54 PM eastern US Time on Monday, April 20, 2026, Iran's foreign minister has ruled out a second round of negotiations with the United States despite Washington sending a delegation to the Pakistani capital.
Of course, like everything else concerning the Iran conflict, this could change. I've never seen such a fiasco over peace negotiations.
Much earlier today, the Iran Foreign Ministry said "The fact that the American delegation has traveled to Islamabad is their own affair.’
So from very early today until very late into the evening in Iran, the message has been quite clear: Iran is not interested.
