Demonstrating how out-of-touch with reality, and how delusional some NATO affiliates actually are, Gunther Fehlinger Jahn of Austria today threatened to "seize US military bases in Europe" if the US takes Greenland.
Regular readers may recall the name Gunther Fehlinger Jahn as he is the same dingbat activist who identifies as the chairman for an "Austrian committee" for the enlargement of NATO, who has frequently posted on social media calling for the breakup of Russia into new, independent states. He refers to this hypothetical outcome as "#ExRussia" or the "Russian Spring 2024." He created a map showing Russia broken up into 46 smaller countries as seen in the image above.
Today, he told a news media outlet that if the United States takes Greenland, Europe will Seize US military bases in Europe and send US boys back home to Chicago or Ohio.

Imagine the unmitigated gall of this . . . dweeb . . . saying something like that?
The man appears delusional to me.
This is the attitude making the rounds inside Europe these days and this almost complete disconnect from reality is seen in European approaches to the Russia-Ukraine Conflict. The Europeans seem to be constantly trying to escalate that conflict into direct war with Russia.
Europeans really seem to think they're some type of military power. They're not.  At all.
Europe, at best, is a collection of puny countries, with pipsqueak armies.  If not for the US protecting them since World War 2, who knows what would have become of them?
Now, this retard is publicly suggesting Europe is in some position to grab US military bases?  Is he out of his mind?
Does he understand that those bases have armed US military? Armed fighter jets? Armed bombers?  Tanks? Artillery? Rocket launchers?
Heck, just one of those bases could conquer the country it's in before the rest of the US even arrived.
It is long past time to dissolve NATO and bring US forces home from all of Europe. Bring home all our troops, all our weapons, shut down all our radar, remove missile defenses, and let Europe stand on its own.
The Soviet Union dissolved itself on December 25, 1991.  NATO should have been dissolved the very next day.  It wasn't. As a result, we now have screwballs like Gunther Fehlinger Jahn acting all big and bad. The US leaving Europe will likely cure him of that delusion rapidly.
