The United States Senate defeated a Bill which would have given the government funding beyond January 30. The bill was defeated by a vote of 46-54 with some "Republicans" voting against it with Democrats.
Unless something dramatic happens between now and Friday night at Midnight, the US Government will face a shutdown -- again.
