Texas Conducts Statewide Emergency Alert Test - Prep Iran Attacks?

The state of Texas conducted a Statewide Test of its Emergency Alert System.   Every cellphone in the state received the following "Severe Alert" message:

TEST. Testing the Emergency Alert System as part of the statewide Texas Alert training exercise taking place between 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM today. You may receive this alert on your mobile phone during the exercise. There is no emergency. No action is required. This test helps ensure that emergency alerts work correctly during real emergencies.

It looked like this on the cellphones:

With the recent "explosion" at the Valero Refinery in Port Arthur, TX, which authorities attributed to an "accident" even though the RUMOR MILL says was a Drone Strike which came in off the Gulf, it seems Texas is beefing-up its ability to alert the public.

As the Iran conflict continues to escalate, and with Iran infrastructure being willfully attacked, many people have been wondering if U.S. infrastructure might start getting attacked in retaliation?

Texas testing its statewide Emergency Alert seems to show it isn't only the general public that is concerned with such possibilities.
