Brutal Arctic Cold has reached northeastern New Jersey and New York City this morning, as I awoke to a temperature outside of nine (9) Degrees Fahrenheit, and Wind Chill making it feel like -7° .
Just for laughs, I also checked the weather at the "Bugout" location in Pennsylvania this morning:

While this terribly cold air has been wafting into the country, a storm system formed in the South, as forecast. It is now developed in Texas, and on the move eastward, then northeastward dumping rain, ice and heavy snow:
The forecasts have prompted declarations of states of Emergency in the states shown below:
With Ice being a major component of this weather outbreak, roads will become utterly IMPOSSIBLE to navigate in some areas. People in Texas are being told by Authorities they may have to remain in their homes for a WEEK because of the icing.
