U.S. President Donald Trump has ordered a BLOCKADE of all "sanctioned oil tanker vessels trying to travel to/from Venezuela.
The U.S. has imposed a naval blockade on sanctioned oil tankers to/from Venezuela as a major escalation of pressure by the Trump administration to cripple Maduro's regime, following recent tanker seizures and a significant military buildup in the Caribbean, aiming to control oil flow and combat drug trafficking, though Venezuela calls it "piracy".
This action intensifies sanctions, with the U.S. Navy enforcing the blockade, intercepting vessels, and using F-18 jets as deterrents, effectively shutting down Venezuela's main economic lifeline.

There are also reports that Russia has deployed at least two (2) attack submarines in the Caribbean, and that more are on the way.
Venezuela is an ally of Russia.
