US  Navy Destroyer ALLEGEDLY Hit By Iran - Burning in Indian Ocean

An Arleigh Burke class Destroyer from the United States Navy was ALLEGEDLY hit by an Iranian attack of some type (missiles or drones) and is burning in the Indian Ocean.

Iran provided commercial satellite grade photo showing the vessel on fire.

ZERO additional information is available right now. The name of the ship is not yet known.  It is not known if the crew were able to extinguish the fire.  It is not known if the ship sank. It is not known how many sailors have been injured or killed.

UPDATE 4:37 PM EST --

US Central Command (CENTCOM) says that NO SHIP is reporting itself as being hit or on fire, anywhere in CENTCOM's area of responsibility.
