At about 6:00 AM eastern US Time Wednesday, February 4, 2026, the Kremlin in Moscow confirmed bluntly "The war (in Ukraine) will continue until Ukraine accepts Russian Terms."
Russia makes clear:
- There will be no ceasefire.
- There will be no foreign troops in Ukraine after the war ends.
- There will be no "coalition of the willing" inside Ukraine.
- There will be no foreign "defensive missiles inside Ukraine."
Russia says Ukraine must agree to all Russian terms or the war will not stop. Period. End of discussion.
