I hope this works out for us but if it doesn't do we see any states breaking away immediately? That is unlikely but it may be "inevitable and long delayed" to use a Stan Lee phrase. My "insight" is that the other side would not rule for long! While I do not claim to be a prophet or a psychic, I do believe that everything in the Universe is connected by strong invisible threads (as permitted by the Superstrings theory in physics) so "karma" is real and it is possible to "know" things before they happen (ESP). My spontaneous thought from several months ago was "you survive socialism!" I am no "spring chicken" so that means it will not last for very long. The statement I made above follows a legal premise of D.C. not having State's rights under the Constitution & thus the 10th Amendment lets the power fall back to the people for a specific parameter event of volunteering to be part of a Militia of Several States in time of crisis since there no longer is another menas to be conscripted than to just show up for service at the WH.
Since the District of Columbia is NOT a State, the Supreme Law of the Land, Article 6 of The United States Constitution, takes authority in Washington D.C. to return power to the people (the 10th Amendment), especially in times of a national crisis where the militia may be called up or offer up its services to POTUS (2nd Amendment & Article 2). In the 1800s, the standard Militias were disbanded from use but never put away by any Constitutional Amendment. Therefore, since POTUS is the commander in chief of the militias of the several states, reporting to him in person for militia service in a time of national crisis is a legitimate means of Constitutionally protected travel to and from under the 10th & 2nd Amendments & Article 2 of the US Constitution exclusively because D.C. is NOT a State of the United States & the activity of retainment falls to WE THE PEOPLE to do so under the 10th Amendment if a legitimate crisis whereby the Militia could be called up. Since Trump is unable to trust Law Enforcement powers to have LEOS uphold & protect the US Constitution under his orders, this legal argument is legitimate so long as those willing to be conscripted are put under oath to obey the legal orders officers POTUS appoints over them, and preferably be conscripted only as long as a Posse Comitatus like crisis or specific military necessity of immediate existence is aroused.
