I bought flood insurance last week and I specifically asked the agent if "tsunamis" were covered with the policy and she said yes. The private company has a 10 day (instead of the typical 30 day) waiting period.

I bought enough coverage for the today's value of replacement costs + $100k in contents + temporary living assistance. I am still not sure how a claim waould be processed in such a catastrophic event sitation, but I have piece of mind is worthwhile.

I tried several times after midnight last night several times today I got 504 error and other error messages. Its about one in 4 up till just recently. Hope they are not putting things like viruses my brother in law talked about they have the ability to infect just phones that visit ABC.

You can see firts the expansive wave, and seconds later the boom sound, but without lava, rocks or an eruption. I know Spanish and the man describing the video says clearly that is artificial.

Does it prove anything? I do not know! Do we have a radiation spike that anyone documented afterwards downwind from the volcano? No, we do not. Do we have an island split in half and its Southern end sinking into the Atlantic?. No, we do not.

We need more data to say that it was a nuclear explosion. Even if hypothetically DARPA, Russian Navy or PLA (or aliens) did it from some nuclear submarine nearby, we can see that the did not accomplish its desired goal of even a small landslide. Just testing for the right megatonnage of TNT?

You probably need to have "flood insurance" - many people at the coast have it anyway as "regular insurance" will not cover water damage driven by hurricane winds. Remember the lawsuits against State Farm following Katrina? They stopped insuring property near the coast after that one. That is the best you can do but I don't know if there is a "tsunami exclusion" - if so there is no insurance that can help you!

I recall Katrina sent water 5 miles inland along the Gulf Coast which was unprecedented. Many people who lived through Camille died because they did not evacuate. Camille was a smaller but more intense storm - 190 mph sustained winds with 230 mph gust but the water from the storm surge went "only" two miles inland. If this volcano really does (one day) produce a "megatsunami" water is expected to go about 15 miles inland where we live.

I'm having a hard time believing a tsunami could go all the way from the Canaries to the USA, even with a massive landslide. Seems like it'd be more logical that the wave hits Africa or Europe, or even the Carribean and South America, but what do I know?

The Tsunami would spread out in a radial manner and affect all of the Atlantic and beyond.

Don't let our normal tendency (that we all have) towards normalcy bias slow you down.

two nights ago I had a very real dream. I was floating in the air above a city, this city was as i said to my wife at 2:30 am was a city you see in Italy or Spain the tops of the buildings were then said no this is a Mediterranean type city like in puzzles. I was freaking out my wife was half asleep but I looked down faceing north over this city . I seen total chaos in screams but never seen people. They were screaming earthquake everywhere. Then two fighters flew over my head and each dropped a bomb that was shaped like a giant tuna the head was orange red the body and tail were grey the head was half circle and a Pac-Man type mouth that had teeth all along the head. And mouth it instantly chewed to below the buildings and blew up I was screaming it was the fighter jets dropped bombs ethey just screamed earth quake I screamed no no it was military run cTOWARDS" the coast. I WAS STILL FLOATING BUT LOOKWD DOWN LIKE A MAP OF AMERICA I WAS OVER CINCINNATI AREA AND LOOKING SOUTH EAST RIGHT OVER NORTH CAR, VIRGINIA, TENNESSEE, KY AREA INLAND I SCREAMED RUN TOWARDS THE COAST THE MILITARY BOMBED IT RUN TOWARDS THE COAST AND TOWARDS WASHINGTON DC RUN TOWARDS THE COAST TOWARDS DC THE MILITARY BOMBED IT IT WASNT AN EARTHQUAKE . This bunch of idiots in D.C. has gone so far as to "bluff" the country by "hinting" that people would lose their jobs for not getting the vax. Companies played along and ordered mandates. People lost jobs. Then it comes out that it was never even an "official" anything. OSHA isn't doing a thing about it, because it hasn't been giving anything to enforce. So they tried to scare people into getting it by "bluffing".
I think they enjoy "screwing with us" by doing crap like this (showing eruption in the middle of a press conference).
I think it will happen one day soon, but they might have no control over when and how it does.
They want the chaos, death and destruction, AND the awesome NEWS to broadcast 24/7 for days! Just think of the RATINGS!!

Each of you in the zone of potential devastation has to just make the best decision you can for you and your family. The government is going to help or warn you, unless the warning would be too late and they can get some great footage of screaming, panic stricken people running for their lives! They could use that over and over for months.

When there is no where to turn, just look up. Your heavenly Father is watching and waiting for you. No magic words, just talk to him. Ask for His help. He can do anything. Just be respectful, don't be rude, this is the CREATOR of the UNIVERSE!
