It seems that there is a deliberate attempt at making certain critical systems fragile. In my area (Central Oregon) the local hospital has only 30 ICU for a county wide population of something like 200,000+.

The article is interesting. I have a co-worker who just returned to work from having COVID. She said that she thought that she was having a stomach bug then she developed shortness of breath and lost her sense of smell for a day. She is in her early 40s. I also have heard of another person losing their sense of smell as a result of contracting COVID. People do not lose their sense of smell from an ordinary virus. This is something much different.
