People living along the US east coast, from Florida to New York, should pay attention to this 2 minute or so video; it shows THREE storm systems >>MERGING<< into "the largest storm the east coast has ever seen" for a hit by hurricane Lee on the US east coast.
The video showing the weather model from WINDY.com, is simple and direct. You don't need to be a meteorologist to understand it. Watch:
JUST IN: New hurricane model predicts the of MERGER OF ALL THREE MASSIVE CELLS creating the largest storm the East Coast has ever seen..— Chuck Callesto (@ChuckCallesto) September 8, 2023
If people want to read about something like this happening, they should read about the 1993 storm which spun a movie called "The Perfect Storm."
UPDATE 11:16 AM EDT --
It should go without saying the guy who made the video is **NOT** a weather professional. Some folks apparently don't get that.
The video is what a common man saw on a free, open, public, web site. HIS interpretation is just that: HIS.
I thought most of my readers would be astute enough to grasp that. Apparently, some of the readers are not.
Simple fact is, no one really knows what the storm is going to do, or where it will ultimately go. Recall Hurricane Sandy, traveling north along the US east coast, made a sudden, sharp, and totally unanticipated left turn into my home state of New Jersey.
It smashed my state, leaving some without gas electric or water for over a month. New York City subways were flooded with feet of water. It was a disaster for my area.
So given that the "professionals" never saw that left turn coming with Hurricane Sandy, I thought it would be beneficial for all of you to see another person's point of view.
