Average Americans in Los Angeles: So Ignorant, there's almost no hope . . .

So, we all know there's a big military conflict between Russia and Ukraine, right?  Typical Americans in L.A. were asked to point to Ukraine on a map.  Watch the level of intellect, education, and engagement of these "typical" Americans . . .

With "typical" people this ignorant, there's almost no hope -- at all -- for this country.

It ought to be painfully clear to you that the public schools of this country have failed, dismally.

The media has failed.

One need only watch the nightly news to see our society is failing by the day.

You know what? There's almost nothing left worth saving.

Maybe us getting nuked out of existence by Russia would be merciful?

It's "Unnatural Selection".

Darwin discussed "Natural Selection" ..... in nature, traits (strength, intelligence, "will", etc) which improve the odds of reproduction are passed on when holders of those traits successfully reproduce. Traits (weakness, stupidity, resignation, etc) which decrease the odds of reproduction are discarded/lost when holders of those traits fail to reproduce.

But through the intervention of the welfare state ....we now have UNNATURAL SELECTION.

The state pays the stupid, the weak, the unmotivated, the quitters, the lazy.......to stay at home and fuck all day. The more pathetic the children they crank out (in number and quality)......the bigger their monthly check.

Meanwhile, strong/intelligent/motivated.....still haul their asses out of bed everyday to try to build something.....or at least keep everything from falling apart.

And.....their reward is to have ever larger amounts of their income taken from them, reducing THEIR ability to raise children, in order to pay the fuck-ups to breed.

Of what cannot be sustained WILL NOT be sustained.

So when (not if) it collapses.....the idle/entitled will go feral when they no longer get their monthly 'GIBS', and are both incapable and unwilling to PRODUCTIVELY support themselves.

The cull will be epic.....

We can stop being frustrated with public education if we stop and realise that learning as such was never the purpose of state-run compulsory education.

My frustration is with Americans that I meet who tell me that I am so smart that the education system in Sweden must be so good. That drives me insane. Swedish education is no better. Young people need to have a drive to learn things for themselves and to be naturally curious about the world.

I cannot imagine what life is really like for these people being constantly perplexed about the world in which they live.
# What's the connection?Paul Lambert 2022-10-20 16:37
This is a rather old exercise where one asks random people in the street to find a given country on a blank map of this kind. In the past, when there was war in Iraq, we found that most people couldn't find Iraq on a map. Perhaps the same was done about Serbia, Afghanistan, Panama, Grenada...who knows?

The tone in all these cases was to question the legitimacy of the given military effort, and the general lack of geographical knowledge was taken to mean that the war effort was unjust.

There are certainly many aspects that can be argued about a country undertaking to go to war against against another, but how is geographical awareness among the population even relevant?

And before anyone says that I am just covering for myself and my own ignorance: I have been a geography whiz since childhood. I can name every single country on that world map at a glance. On detailed maps I might mix up a few Pacific or Caribbean island nations, but certainly every mainland country or larger island I can tell you right away.

I too disparage the lack of general knowledge among the populace, but what does one issue have to do with the other? It would be like asking a waiter how many dentists came to his restaurant to eat, and then when he can't answer, following up with "then why do you think you should go to the dentist, huh?"

We ALL know that while these areas consider themselves to be the cutting edge of progressiveness, that they are in fact cesspools in need of culling; our country would be far better off without them leading us into wokeness, satanic worship, lawlessness and extreme moral decay.

# The (not so ) Great ResetMildB 2022-10-19 09:20
~

Civilization is being “reset” and everything from farming to finance is being transformed by those determined to bring in the New World Order. Dictators ride in on the back of economic chaos, which is now being created via organisations like The World Economic Forum, which sets much of the agenda.

We are fast heading for global government backed by a one world religion, all electronic buying and selling and control of education (which is now more like indoctrination). The attempt to abolish sexual differences and even gender itself is aided by control of the main means of expression and news access. No non-mainstream views are allowed on big media, so forget challenging anything from evolution to the man-made climate change myth. Free speech is history.

Globalist advocates love a crisis – or several, to justify drastic action.

.You panic people.
.The world is being told there are only “global solutions”
.Young people are already brainwashed into thinking “we must save the planet.”
.A green global religion will come in with the New World Order.
.Henry Kissinger and Bill Gates were featured on something called a TED talk agreeing that “we must get the world population down to 500 million.” Gates then says vaccines can be part of the process. This talk has now been removed from the web.
.The current world population is almost eight billion so a lot of us have to be culled one way or another.

The Scamdemic – the false panic about Covid 19, which for most people who get it amounts to little more than the flu – enabled governments to stop most normal activities, including going to school and work. Instead we had to keep six feet apart from everyone else and breathe through the dangerous blue masks, which limit oxygen intake by 20 percent. The world economy has been crippled by the lockdowns.

One lady of 100 in our church had several life threatening ailments and wanted to be with her Lord. She got Covid, died in a week and that was put down as the cause of death. Do not believe the figures and also do not believe that the so-called “jabs” are safe.

There is ample evidence from medical sources that so-called vaccinations can bring on blood clots, causing heart attacks in many young athletes and others. Ask jabbed people you talk to and you will find some with assorted health trouble, from brain problems to menstrual difficulties. A friend of ours had her health severely affected by the first jab.

Meanwhile farmers are being hammered in the fake cause of “saving the planet.”

Farmers feed the world, so they are under attack to ensure world food shortages and famine. Because “Nature” is now worshiped due to mass scientific ignorance, the European Union says emissions of nitrogen oxide and ammonia, which livestock produce, must be drastically reduced close to nature areas that are part of a network of protected habitats for “endangered plants and wildlife” stretching across the 27-nation European Union.

Over 40,000 farmers gathered in the central Netherlands’ agricultural heartland to protest the government’s plan to slash emissions of what they call “damaging pollutants,” which will likely force farmers to cut their livestock herds or stop work altogether.

When people are discouraged from meeting in person, with most activities being done online, including medical consultations in the UK, the results are:

.Far less human contact as people are encouraged to join a virtual world – the Metaverse.
.Fewer opportunities to meet and talk with real people due to all manner of obstacles and restrictions “for our own good.”
.“We The Sheeple” have mostly gone along with all the claptrap and propaganda.
.Meanwhile the so-called mainstream church is more interested in gender bending and recycling.

Expect food shortages and violence. Pensions, health care and even social security are at risk. Christians will have to trust the Lord and help one another.

Maranatha – come quickly Lord Jesus.

They are pretty much exactly what the elite paid for in buying off the pride-riddled education system - people who can be trained to perform a few simple worker functions without the burden of a broad education to confuse their minds and cause them to question and aspire.

Notice how "happy" they all look to have their ignorance exposed. Hey, everything that isn't painful is just something to laugh about and then go back to looking at their miniature idiot-boxes. Now I understand "You'll own nothing and be happy" - first they make cretins out of all the lower and middle rungs of society, then they appropriate all their asset ownership by financial prestidigitation, and, hey, it's all good ! Then those impoverished-but-fed-and-housed people just giggle and go on, exactly like they did in the video. They have lost their freedom, their dignity, their spirituality, their very self-awareness, their soul, and the Lord knows what else, and they don't even know it. The same thing has happened to every culture that went pagan.

IF we are not nuked en masse, then it will probably be necessary for the Awake to segregate themselves from the Woke and form some kind of their own community/region/nation fairly soon.

...if we remember the Pareto principle.

The square root represents half. I.e., in any endeavour at all, the square root of the number of people involved brings about one half of the result. So in a town of 10,000 people, the top 100 earners make half of the money. The other 9,900 earn the same as the first 100. The principle even works recursively, i.e., if you consider the square root of the square root. This means that in a town of 10,000 people, 10 people represent a quarter of the economic outcome. If the town for some reason loses or scares off the top 10 most productive people (just 10!), the town loses a quarter of its output.

This principle applies to everything, not just money. Consider how many people you know play musical instruments. How many of them have a gold-selling album? How many friends play sports? How many of them are on pro-league teams? You get the picture.

Now, in public education, we don't learn about the Pareto principle, because it is contrary to the Marxist indoctrination being conveyed, which says that everyone is equal and that any difference between people in terms of wealth, ability or opportunity is a result of exploitation (a conspiracy theory if I have ever heard one).

Our hope lies in the fact that it is always a select few people who carry society on their shoulders. It will not likely be these people we saw in the video. This is all the more reason why we need societies to be free, in order for the most productive among us to be allowed to benefit from their efforts and make a decent life available to all of us.

Socialists and egalitarians be damned. It is the fact that a few people have plenty that allows the rest of us to have anything at all.

+12 # The educating of children and teens has been in a deliberately calibrated decline since the early 90's (or even earlier).MrsBlake 2022-10-18 23:24
I recall in the early 90's when my son was in grade 1 in a Vancouver, BC school that the school system commenced what they called The Year 2000 program, aimed at making learning for elementary school children more sociable. It was a total disaster in my opinion and put the academic focus into decline as children got to sit facing one another and talking about how this makes them feel, and how that makes them feel when someone does whatever. They were supposed to help one another learn through social interaction.
My son's first report card read like some idiotic haphazard psycho-social development checklist. I was appalled and made my objections heard loud and clear, telling his teacher and the principal that I wasn't interested in their pseudo psycho/social assessment of my son. I was sending him to school to learn his academics and in the process of learning, developing and interacting with other children and adults, he would learn NATURALLY how to live in the world and interact socially. His social skills were learned at home as basic daily living according to his father and me; not by some ideology drummed up by some socialist government social agenda.

I was so infuriated with this agenda of psycho-social manipulation of the children. Anyway, to make a long story short, I warned the school off my son and warned numerous parents about the dangers of this education program.
Fortunately I had the upper hand with my son and he got through that time of craziness. But sadly the majority of parents loved the program and the fun time their kids were having at school. What a bunch of nonsense! Even recalling this time makes me infuriated.

But very disturbing is the evidence (as seen in this video) of today's young people who have been sorely educated and heavily conditioned by the government's agenda of dumbing down of the masses. This could only happen because the parents of these kids had likely already been conditioned to the social norms and expectations set up for them. What a mess!
+9 # 1989jdr197121 2022-10-19 01:49
You know what's really interesting? I graduated high school in Houston, Texas in 1989. I recall to this day something I noticed the following year. You see, I still had a couple of acquaintances that were a grade behind me still attending that high school. That year '89-'90 was the year I saw all doors locked during the school day, security guards on site, and for the first time seniors were prohibited from leaving campus during the lunch hour if they had a registered automobile out in the student parking area. These were all firsts for that school which had been around since the 1960's. I remember saying as I looked back on that time...." I'm so thankful for the time period I grew up in, because after that, things began to head south for the younger kids coming up through school. The freedoms we had, the general atmosphere of that time frame of the 80's, the Americana and everything that made us who we were was changing. I couldn't see it for what it was, but looking back as I sit here writing this, where we're at now started subtly. Probably started before that. I just didn't notice it until I stood back and looked at it from a different perspective. One based on the wisdom garnered over the years. Communism is a creeping thing. Subtle it is as it goes about the business of entrenching itself into society, leading us to a day when we look back and proclaim, " How the fuck did we get here? What happened?" Communism is what happened, and because of it's sneaky nature, and with the help of traitorous politicians and others, we were duped. The only remedy at this point is forcible removal of those responsible. I'll believe that when I see it happen. Unfortunately, we as a nation aren't the way we were in the '80's. At least in the commie ass kicking department. Sad.
+3 # Sad, but true...MrsBlake 2022-10-19 03:09
and much of what you wrote is true across many nations. Look at Canada with our commie %#! Prime Minister and his handpicked henchmen government ministers.
So much of the socialist agenda has been laid in a seductive manner; masquerading as benevolent as it strips away the individual identity and individual rights through carefully laid societal snares; for example ie: political correctness.
Years ago I had a conversation where I mentioned how insidious Political Correctness was because it works to neutralize society through the combined tactic of judgment and condemnation which is aimed at the individual and targeted groups. The aim is to subdue and control the individual by censoring first their voice, then their thoughts. But the greater evil is done when thoughts are censored by one's self because of fear of disapproval and condemnation, and/or for approval and recognition.
Communism is indeed an evil mechanism that is subtle, and as you stated... "a creeping thing".
There is no reasoning with those who hold to communistic viewpoints and ideologies as the aim of communism is to absorb all that is free and make it like itself.
Kinda like The Borg... "We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile."
True-hearted freedom will resist unto death if need be. There is no other way for those who walk in the light and know the truth.

That is an example of America's draft age recruit pool, to be crash educated while en route to one of the theaters of WWIII, with a chalkboard tied off to the webbing of a C-141. Some of them may never know the soil they are bleeding on. Drill Sgts have their work cut out. I can hear Jimmy Hendrix in the distance. It's cold.

A simple discipline.
A fascinating study really.
Common curiosity ought to instruct and
motivate.
Even self taught...out of interest.
Same with world history.
There are certain topics you just have to learn
Self respect requires it.
So you missed out on world history and
geography. Books are cheap.
Screw the classroom.
Screw the lecture hall.
Buy used text books and read through.

The Bible,
When you read it through the first time,
you encounter history,
And geography.
It introduces a person to time.

God was naturally first.
Then Adam and Eve, Cain and Able
Look for Abraham, Isaac, Jacob,
Joseph and sooner or later baby Moses
Calib, Joshua, Judges and Samuel
and Saul and David until Christ.
All written to instruct, re: time.
How would we ever learn about time
If God didn't carefully illustrate it
through his writings?
Got to start somewhere.
Got to learn.
God teaches us about time by how
He interacts with it.
Time is a commodity and belongs
exclusively to Him.
# Good jobSBGlett77 2022-10-19 07:01
Very insightful.

Where people have no curiosity about what they might not yet know, they will never contemplate things like you just pointed out, and will later die and go out of the precious time they were given, and into eternity.

Evangelists today have a completely different job to do, than they had just 70 years ago. It can still be done, but they have to snap out of conventional trainee-type preaching, into Spirit-led discernment and power.

I have "never" found one of Hal's shows to be "boring". Full of "background" maybe (for new listeners), if you do "not" know "the past" you will not know the "now". If you do not know "the now", how about "tomorrow"?
If you can see more than "1" of the "same number" moving in a "circular motion", or you think "you" are the "second coming of Christ". DO NOT CALL. There are more than a few "people" with "questions" to ask and "points" to make. Some are "really pretty good" in fact. "Don't waste" their "time" or "mine".

Actually, that joke was pretty close to the mark.

I remember that in school when I was growing up in Seattle (70's), a lot of my classmates actually thought that the U.S. was an island because on the classroom map the areas above and below the U.S. where Canada & Mexico are, were painted blue like the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. I am totally serious about this.

I've always liked geography and I remember I was totally flabbergasted.

The worst part is that they actually got very angry at me when I told them that they were wrong.

When someone tells you "Future proves the past", they are "full of it". "The past" always "proves the future"! "If" they have done "these things" before, they will do them "again"! Each time they will become "bolder", and more "confident" in their actions.

His actual point was the song ,"Peaches".
They wouldn't make a song about how they come from a can where they were put there by a man, in a factory downtown.
Or so he informed me.
So, I walked away from that guy.

+8 # "Public Schools"?joe@tittiger.com 2022-10-18 21:31
You are missing the ONLY important point here:

Our "pubic schools" are the implementation of the 10th plank of the Communist Manifesto.

A free country would use the free market to educate their youth. NOT have the government do so. Sorta like we did in this country until the 1860's to the 1920's.

THE ONLY reason for government to get involved in education is to indoctrinate the youth! I say fuk "public (communist) schools"!! That BTW are paid for with the 1st plank of the communist manifesto! (property tax)
