Russia has told the country of Estonia there will be a military response unless Estonia Extradites the bombing/Murder suspect, Natalya Vovk, of the Ukraine National Guard. Estonia is a member of NATO.

Natalya Vovk is now charged in Russia with the bombing and murder, fled Russia after the bombing via the Pskov border crossing into Estonia, and is allegedly being kept hidden in a secret NATO facility near Amari Air Base.

Ämari Air Base is a military airbase in Harjumaa, Estonia located 7 km (4.3 mi) south of Lake Klooga and 20 nautical miles (37 km; 23 mi) southwest of Tallinn, which is the capital city of Estonia.

“If Estonia does not extradite the perpetrator of the murder ... to Russia, there are grounds for harsh actions against Tallinn for harboring a terrorist,” said Vladimir Dzhabarov, a senior member of the Russian Federation Council.

Paula, I’m not in lockstep with anyone. But I do sympathize with Ukraine and all the hell she has been through with Russia throughout her entire history even during the reign of the czars. I also think maybe NATO should’ve been disbanded after the USSR and Warsaw Pact collapsed but it didn’t. So be it. The only GOOD people I see in Russia today are the victims of the Soviet system and Putin. All the rest have evil intentions toward other peoples, especially against Ukraine. Putin’s war is NOT legitimate. I sympathize with ALL victims of communism, especially my wife and her family with what they went through in Cuba during Castro’s first few years of control there. She lost part of her family to Castro’s thugs. And that regime was supported by the SOVIET UNION for 3 decades until 1991 when they ceased to exist. I hope we can keep our military out of Ukraine but I am not holding my breath on that one. I cannot and will not in good conscience support anyone in Russia who was part of the old Soviet system and is trying to revive it. I see too many people accepting what Russia says as gospel without questioning it and that’s just not smart. I know how to think for myself. Sure, but part of understanding this situation depends on whether you trust Russia or our government more. We understand that our government lies all the time and doesn't benefit from telling the truth since they have a degree of authority and don't have our best interests in mind.
Russia doesn't have our best interests in mind either, since we are not Russians, but they don't have authority over us. Lying weakens their position where's telling the truth strengthens it and gives them more credibility. Therefore in my mind when Russia lies it is primarily lying by omission rather than overt lies and gaslighting like our government does to us.
