A Chinese Army Officer has made explicitly clear, Beijing's position on the sale of F-35 fighter jets, opr the THAAD defense system to Taiwan: “If USA dares to deploy THAAD systems or F-35 fighter jets in Taiwan, it will be the day China’s PLA liberates Taiwan.”

Strange thing to say since no announcements have been made about Taiwan seeking, or even being offered the F-35 or THAAD.
