Sunday Morning, Norway Sounds ALERT: Advanced Russian Subs & Missiles Detected, North Sea

Norwegian Navy Commander: We have detected very modern Russian submarines with very advanced missiles in their arsenal in the North Sea, and this threatens the security of Europe and the United States.

Norway has not yet given further details about which submarines, but the "rumors" say Borei Class.

Borei class includes a compact and integrated hydrodynamically efficient hull for reduced broadband noise and the first ever use of pump-jet propulsion on a Russian nuclear submarine.

Russian news service TASS claimed the noise level is to be five times lower when compared to the third-generation nuclear-powered Akula-class submarines and two times lower than that of the U.S. Virginia-class submarines. The acoustic signature of Borei is significantly stealthier than that of the previous generations of Russian SSBNs, but it has been reported that their hydraulic pumps become noisier after a relatively short period of operation, reducing the stealth capabilities of the submarine.

The Borei submarines are approximately 170 meters (560 ft) long, 13 meters (43 ft) in diameter, and have a maximum submerged speed of at least 46 kilometers per hour (25 kn; 29 mph). They are equipped with a floating rescue chamber designed to fit in the whole crew.

Smaller than the Typhoon class, the Boreis were initially reported to carry 12 missiles but are able to carry four more due to the decrease in mass of the 36-ton Bulava SLBM (a modified version of the Topol-M ICBM) over the originally proposed R-39UTTH Bark. Cost was estimated in 2010 at some ₽23 billion (USD$734 million, equivalent to US$863 million in 2020 terms.  In comparison the cost of an Ohio-class SSBN was around US$2 billion per boat (1997 prices, equivalent to over US$3 billion in 2020 terms.

Each Borei is constructed with 1.3 million components and mechanisms. Its construction requires 17 thousand tons of metal which is 50% more than the Eiffel Tower. The total length of piping is 109 km and the length of wiring is 600 km. Ten thousand rubber plates cover the hull of the boat.

Each Borei submarine is armed with 16 × RSM-56 Bulava SLBMs with 6 MIRV warhead.   Those 16 Submarine Launched Ballistic Missiles (SLBM) missiles with 6 warheads each, equals 96 total nuclear bombs, each of which is independently targetable.   Each warhead is believed to be either 100 or 150 kiloton blast yield.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - North American Aerospace Defense Command detected an
unidentified radar track over south central Texas on Mar. 25 and launched aircraft to visually
investigate the situation. NORAD aircraft identified a small airborne object as likely a hobbyist
Pico balloon and assessed the object posed no immediate military threat or safety of flight
hazard. NORAD will continue to track and monitor the object, and is in close coordination with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration to ensure continued flight safety.

In July 2022, Gotion – the Chinese company purchasing 700 acres of property near Big Rapids – published a 94-page document titled, “Articles of Association,” essentially the equivalent of an American company’s bylaws. The document, found on Gotion’s website, lays out the company’s governance structure and allegiance to the “Constitution of the Communist Party of China.”

It also states, “The Company shall set up a Party organization and carry out Party activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Communist Party of China.”

Nope, we in MI did not re-elect her and we did not elect Biden….many reports of mishandling of ballots, the dead voting solidly blue, shenanigans on redistricting…..We didn’t re-elect her any more than AZ elected Katie Hobbs.

I was surprised when that nice Republican lady lost the governor's race. Not a bit surprised at voting irregularities I think Trump carried Michigan in 2020 as well. Hammer and Scorecard was used to rig the elections. Look up General McInerney's interview on Two Mike's Podcast concerning how this software was used to rig elections.

W/all the satellite surveillance surrounding this planet, I doubt Russian subs can leave port without our knowing. We already know Russia has boomers off both our coasts. So, why the public dire warning? Was not Norway the NATO accomplice named by Sy Hersh? I suspect this supposed intel is designed to ginn up fear in Europe n here.

On a related note. As a civilian, I've been able to climb into three decommissioned submarines, n numerous other sea n aircraft. I'd LOVE to get a tour of one of those Borei class Russian subs. Whether or not they end up nuking us is up to God, n a seperate issue. I've always had a deep appreciation for the engineering required for such craft :)

+11 # Is noway PARANOID?MSNews 2023-03-26 10:54
I suppose that any tiny shit little country like no-way would be very paranoid after blowing up pipelines.

Serving onboard a us submarine, I know for a fact there are no windows to look for all those no-waygeon pipelines heading to europe.

So, those Russian submarines could inadvertantly run into all those oil and gas lines by mistake!

But, it's very good that they have plenty of firepower to get out of that tangled mess.

Ok, so the statement by the no-way naval commander includes a remark that Russian submarines in international water threatens "national security" of europe and the us? Why did he have to bring up the us?

I don't give a fuck about no-way, they can sink to the bottom of the cold, cold sea for all I care! Interesting, the wording has cia all over it.

Karma apparently can make oneself very PARANOID!

Go Russia and God bless,

Norway has positioned itself under the bat wings of the Swamp Creature of DC, and so cannot be considered as a truthful source of intelligence. It parrots what its master feeds it. Playing the role of beleaguered victim of Russian Aggression, the Swamp Creature of DC and its minions in Europe attempt to appear as defenders of Freedom and Democracy and their "values". There is no way the parrots in Norway would be certain that the alleged submarine was fully armed with said missiles. It would hardly be sailing without them though. And why no squawking about the English, French and Swamp Creature submarines scattered around the globe, all armed with nuclear missiles?

Mustn't mention those. They defend our Freedoms and Democracy and Values. O, say can you see...?

Feeling like a sitting duck here in the UK. I grew up with the North sea lapping my toes. Just got done watching Battle of Britain/Hans Zimmer (Supemarine), if only, like back then, we had a fighting chance. The Battle of Britain movie is the best depiction of WW2 ever made.
+5 # Private RyanMarlena 2023-03-26 09:56
The first 20 minutes of Saving Private Ryan gets my vote for best depiction of WW2. Silencing the soundtrack to simulate disorientation from concussion was a great technique. And the general clusterf&#k feel of the landing was spot on. But I'll dig up the Battle of Britain now that you mention it.
+2 # When Trumpets FadeGruntpa 2023-03-26 10:29
Another movie that depicts reality from a groundpounder's/grunt's POV that is not well known as it was shown only on the "Orwellian Communicator" being foreshadowed by "Saving Private Ryan". I can attest that is 99.9% accurate what it is like to be a grunt in what it used to this man's Army. Think from going from a Private to being a Lieutenant through a battlefield promotion of having that responsibility thrust upon you where the lives of others are in your hands. Talk about a clusterf*ck/mindf*ck.

Yes I agree with you there regards the first 20 minutes, absolutely amazing and horrific and the sentiment is never lost on me but Battle of Britain was made some 60 years ago so no CGI and all that razamataz, they worked with real air footage and honestly I am biased having spent my fist few years on an RAF base in England courtesy of my Dad.
