In Joe Biden's circle capable of anticipating
this? People that make 6-figures and up

outcomes. These guys sure were not.
OK. The break down:
We said no to security guarantees.
Then what?
Did the analysts ponder,
Asking, what can Russia possibly do?
Or are they blind?
Or was it old style American hegemonic
hubris showing it's ass?
Probably.
Frankly, this is EMBARRASSING.
We have a doddering geriatric ass being run
like a puppet.
Being made a total fool of by Putin. And the irony
is that Biden hasn't a clue what's going on.
Putin is running rings around us.

Brit Pit should expect even higher prices for heating oil and gas when Israel finally owns Iranian Oil field!

No Rubles? No Gas! Will believe that when I see it. The Putin always has new ways for his bleeding heart to **ALLOW** his enemies to aquire gas and oil. Then they turn around and use the gas and oil to power their tranny militaries to ATTACK Russia. And the Putin just smiles n waves. How come the economies of these angloz is still functioning then? How come germany is not shut down right now? Because of the Putins bleeding heart. Putin needs to be replaced by a hardliner that stops all this bullshit and force these angloz to purcutin sets up a bank system to keep them in business then. WTF is the purpose then of forcing Ruble payments if the Putin just accomadates them to make it easy and still possible? The Putin is fucked. What a pushover he is. It should be made as difficult as possible. And the Putin makes it easy for them. He will still find a way soon to send gas to these limeys too. What a lame duck he is. Supplies his enemies with gas. LOL. Hope they replace the Putin soon.

Warnings about rising energy costs were given out months ago then almost on the dot Russia declares its gas is going to be bought with rubles AND April 1st we are told our bills have risen from April 1st. Conveniently we cannot buy our gas from Russia because Boris imposed sanctions on Gazprom ? Are they stupid OR do they know exactly what they are doing? By October this year our energy costs are set to rise another £600 per household per year? So I can't help but wonder about this whole scenario and what it really is all about.

As thousands of businesses were forced to close in the U.S. as a result of the coronavirus outbreak in March of 2020, and millions of Americans were financially struggling, the Federal Reserve was pumping what would become a cumulative $3.84 trillion in secret repo loans into the U.S. trading unit of the giant French global bank, BNP Paribas, in the first quarter of 2020.

If anyone went to see their doctor and asked for the copy of their visit, they will be astounded that the front portion of the chart which contains your biographical date has a little rubric sex identification. Nowadays it is filled automatically by the computer (EMR) in the following fashion: Sex: Borrn male and Sex: Born female.

In the Brit Pit they take this nonsense one step further! When you are admitted to the ER or the hospital, they ask you if you are pregnant, whether you are male or female. Is it also the fault of the Brit Pit's dregs of the society, the mohammendans?

I lived in Plumstead, Woolwich - in a bedsit with a bus driver and wife..
Then in a bedsit with an Italian family off Tottenham Court road.
There were IRA bombs in both areas of London.
I moved back to Birmingham. I was on evening shift in Smallbrook Queensway when the IRA blew up the Mulberry Bush pub about 30 yards away.
I then went to live in Shannon, Ireland.
And an IRA gang broke into my home and tried to kill me.
So I do not blame the Muslims, Jamaicans, Ugandans etc.
# Hard to find the silver bulletPaul Lambert 2022-04-03 11:33
Indeed, it may be too easy (or lazy) for us to pinpoint any particular group of people or single incident as the cause for the gradual breakdown of society, be they Muslims, Jamaicans, Ugandans or the IRA.

What we notice, however, is a general political trend over the years in which politicians make decisions that will affect the entire society, and those decisions are based on considerations that have nothing to do with the well-being of the people already living in the country and which come at the expense of the freedom and safety of the citizens.

# RE: Still not an argument.Palehorse 2022-04-03 17:22

It's not about whether you are correct or not, but
the shallowness your perspective.
As stated, you would appear to lack an adequate
frame of reference for an in-depth discourse
on the subject.
And as you point out, you appear to be looking
to simply start an argument as a form of
entertainment for yourself. No thanks as I have
observed your methods for a long time in this forum.
-1 # Fair enoughPaul Lambert 2022-04-03 19:36
I don't try to start arguments; I just offer reflections for whatever they are worth.

At any rate, my perspective is not shallow at all. Rather, I can see current events unfolding within a greater context. In particular, as I was admittedly vague above, I can tell you what came to mind. You are certain to recognise parallels in your own country.

For just one example of a frame of reference, several years ago, the Swedish government took in 30,000 Syrian refugees, and then Germany took in 800,000. This is clearly not in the interest of the people in either country. It would cost the local population a lot of money, the public services would be strained and the refugees tend to bring a lot of trouble with them. The politicians behind such decisions might have nefarious self-interests of their own, but the only reason people don't resist more forcefully is because for centuries now the people have been indoctrinated in the altruist morality, i.e., this insipid idea that the only justification for one's own existence is the selfless sacrifice for the sake of another without regard to own's own interests. People are too afraid to be called "selfish" to stand up against any kind of self-immolation, and moreover want to be seen as "good people" for allowing themselves to suffer. That is why self-styled "good people" will put up with things like climate policies, lock-downs and now the coddling of Ukrainians. We can all argue who is behind it, be it Jews, Illuminati, bankers or just corrupt politicians, but the reason they get away with it is that our entire civilisation has accepted the moral millstone of altruism to be placed around our necks.

A bit of self-reflection is a good thing, however. I am not aware of any particular methods I employ on this forum, but if you ever want to point them out, I will listen.

Before the PC - they had little effect on overall employment of information processing.
But then I saw an accounts department of 4 people get 4 PC's.
They could do their work in a fraction of the time. But no one got laid off - they were given new tasks.
Similarly governments could copy, alter paste and produce new laws just as fast as they could think them up.
Same with creating and collecting taxes - and that is why we are where we are today, IMHO.
+4 # Not a problem for the UKSmiley1984*! 2022-04-03 09:46
I think that that is not a problem for the UK as they have North Sea Gas, and only has 3-4% of it's gas from Russia, so they will be able to make it up from elsewhere.

However ALL the European countries including the UK, will be competing for gas from the other sources, ie. Norway, Qatar, and USA, this is bound to lead to price increases.

It seems as though "Greta's climate crisis" is no longer a concern, as using LNG tankers must be very energy inefficient!

Time to look at using solid fuel, if you can get it, most coal mines are closed so that is imported, wood burners are an alternative.

It is and has always been an Anglo-Dutch amalgamation. The "Dutch" in Royal Dutch Shell was dropped in 2021.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shell_plc

"Shell was formed in 1907 through the merger of Royal Dutch Petroleum Company of the Netherlands and The "Shell" Transport and Trading Company of the United Kingdom. ....In November 2004, following a period of turmoil caused by the revelation that Shell had been overstating its oil reserves, it was announced that the Shell Group would move to a single capital structure, creating a new parent company to be named Royal Dutch Shell plc, with its primary listing on the LSE, a secondary listing on Euronext Amsterdam, its headquarters and tax residency in The Hague, Netherlands and its registered office in London. ...
In November 2021, Shell announced that it is planning to relocate their headquarters to London, abandon its dual share structure, and change its name from Royal Dutch Shell plc to Shell plc.
