Reports indicate (but not yet confirmed) "multiple people shot."

7:16 PM EDT -- Reports claim "A Middle Eastern man wearing a bulletproof vest" is reportedly opening fire on police in Midtown East, NYC.
The suspect was on the 32nd floor of the building. Reports saying 345 Park Avenue. There are reports of at least two people shot, including a police officer. The NYPD bomb squad is now responding.

7:26 PM EDT -- DAN BONGINO: FBI RESPONDING TO NYC CHAOS AFTER GUNMAN OPENS FIRE
Dan Bongino says the FBI is now involved in the unfolding chaos in Midtown Manhattan.
According to Bongino, a Middle Eastern gunman has opened fire on police and civilians, triggering mass panic. People are reportedly hiding throughout the area as law enforcement races to contain the scene. The situation remains highly fluid.

An NYPD officer and civilian were shot on the street at 52nd Street and Park Avenue before the suspect fled into an office building, police sources confirm.
CURRENT SITUATION: 345 Park Avenue office building on LOCKDOWN

LOCATION: 345 Park Avenue is 0.5 miles (10 minute walk) from Trump Tower at 721 Fifth Avenue

REPORTS NOW SAYING SIX (6) PEOPLE PLUS TWO POLICE OFFICERS SHOT.
One New York City Police Officer reportedly DEAD.
Shooter reportedly turned his gun on himself and is dead from self-inflicted wound. (Burn in hell you rat, bastard, piece of shit.)
8:28 PM EDT -- At least six people were shot, including a security guard, with two civilians confirmed dead.

"The scene has been contained and the lone shooter has been neutralized," police confirm.
Shane D. Tamura, is allegedly the name of the gunman and he is DEAD.
According to multiple sources, including NBC News and The Guardian, the shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound or by Police! (This is the first hint that he may have been put down by police. To this moment, I have only received reports saying self-inflicted gunshot wound)
The New York Post also reported that the suspect was found dead on the 33rd floor of the Park Avenue building! Good riddance…
