A longtime aide to former President Joe Biden admitted that White House staff felt justified doing “undemocratic things” during his term in office because they believed President Donald Trump posed an existential threat to American democracy.
The revelation came during an appearance by Axios reporter Alex Thompson on “Fox News Sunday” with Shannon Bream, where he discussed insider accounts from his reporting on the Biden administration. Thompson described a mindset inside the White House — one in which unelected aides saw themselves as the real decision makers while shielding Biden from scrutiny and managing the presidency behind the scenes.
“If you believe — and I think a lot of these people do sincerely believe — that Donald Trump was and is an existential threat to democracy, you can rationalize anything, including sometimes doing undemocratic things,” Thompson said.
Thompson also cited a quote from his reporting in which a longtime Biden aide openly admitted the president “just had to win, and then he could disappear for four years.”
“He’d only have to show proof of life every once in a while,” the aide reportedly told Thompson. “His aides could pick up the slack.”
Access to Biden was tightly controlled by an inner circle of unelected staffers who managed his schedule and limited who could speak to him directly, Thompson said.
“When you’re voting for president, you’re voting for the aides around him,” the aide said.
Hal Turner Editorial Opinion
I am not an Attorney and cannot render a competent legal opinion. I am also not a Swiss Watchmaker; but that doesn't mean I can't read and interpret a clock.
As a layman, I can read and understand a law as well as anyone else and in my layman's opinion I think these "aides" have committed the federal felony of Embezzlement, in violation of Title 18 United States Code, Sub-Section 641 (18 U.S.C. §641).
That law reads as follows:
By their own admission, these "aides" took and exercised Presidential power which wasn't theirs to use, and converted it to their own use. They "purloined" Presidential Authority, which is "something of value to the United States."
Moreover, through the use of the "Auto pen" one or more of these "aides" seems to have committed FORGERY against the President, and did so on official government documents, by using the Autopen to affix the "President's " signature with him either not being told, or, through Dementia, and thereby being unable to consent.
These were willful acts of FRAUD; they defrauded the United States of Presidential judgment and his control of the Executive Branch.
These are federal CRIMES.
I want these people investigated, arrested, charged, Indicted, and put on trial with no plea bargain. I want them Sentenced by a court to prison.
How dare they presume to scoff-away their actions as protecting Democracy? That is a level of arrogance I never imagined even possible, never mind now hearing them admit they did it!
They STOLE Presidential Authority and converted it to their own use; doing what THEY thought was best for "Democracy." Who the hell do these self-important little pricks think they are?
The entire Biden Presidency was a literal fraud. From the fraudulent election that got him into office, to these "aides" who now admit they used Biden's power on their own; nothing about this regime was valid.
The American people voted for a President. What they got instead was some hidden left-wing whackos acting as President because they thought they knew what was best.
The law should make a severe example of these people, lest someone else try the same nonsense in the future.
