At around 10:30pm, a vehicle rammed an exterior checkpoint outside the White House Complex at the intersection of 17th and E St NW in Downtown Washington.
The incident triggered a response from both the U.S. Secret Service and D.C. Metro Police.
No word on cause of crash, or injuries, or arrests (if any).
Hal Turner Remarks
When the United States Secret Service and Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia respond like that, it means they treat it as a potential threat first, and a car accident second.
Late-night, high-security zone, hard stop at a checkpoint? Someone just signed up for a very bad night with federal charges.
The White House perimeter isn’t where you “accidentally” screw up.
