A large snowstorm is moving from the center of the country, eastward toward my house in PA - where my snowplow is parked - AND toward my house just outside of New York City. Here, it's supposed to be all rain . . .
Up in PA, there's a Winter Storm Watch for accumulations of six inches or more at the house up there.
So the question I face is: Do I drive up to PA today, hook-up the plow and have it ready, plow-out the property up there tomorrow morning, then drive the plow down to New Jersey tomorrow late morning IN CASE the weather people are wrong and it snows down here, too?
It's a tough call.
If I trust the weather guys, and they turn out to be wrong (as they so often do) and we GET snow here in NJ, I'm screwed because I won't be ABLE to drive up to PA since west of here will be snowbound.
Arrrrghhhhhh.
I don't want to make that three hour drive today and then do it again tomorrow. But if I don't plow out the PA house, how will my local neighbors get in to feed the feral cats?
Can't just let them go hungry for days.
Arrrrgggghhh.
