U.S. Navy's Largest Base LOSES ELECTRIC POWER!

The U.S. NAVY'S LARGEST BASE IS SUFFERING A POWER OUTAGE! MULTIPLE FACILITIES ARE SHUT DOWN!

Naval Station Norfolk reports an electric power loss across portions of the installation and off-base facilities.

Emergency crews are addressing the issue without timeline for restoration, forcing closure of the Navy Exchange (NEX), Commissary, and all Morale, Welfare and Recreation facilities.

This base is the world's largest naval station.  It houses over 75 ships of the Atlantic Fleet.
