A Magnitude 5.1 earthquake shook Texas Friday night, coming in from a very shallow depth of only 3.3km. Because the quake was so shallow, it was felt over a wide area.
No reports of injuries or deaths, but a whole lot of people got shaken pretty good at 10:28 PM eastern (9:28 PM local) time.
The quake has been followed by six aftershocks, all much smaller than the main trembling.
