A large section of Interstate 40, eastbound, has collapsed from flooding in Tennessee, near the North Carolina border.
I-40 (pictured above) is THE most-used Interstate Highway for West-to-East freight transit. Supply Chain disruption will be IMMEDIATE and long lasting.

The monstrous flooding is taking place as remnants of Hurricane Helene drench the southeastern United States.
