ICE Raids MacArthur Park in Los Angeles; Mayor Outraged, Demands They Leave!

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raided MacArthur Park in Los Angeles, CA today, even bringing in Customs and Border Protection Officers on horseback!  L.A. Mayor Karen Bass was infuriated and responded directly to the park.

Upon arriving, Mayor Bass demanded federal agents "Leave and leave right now."   She even demanded one of the ICE Agents call their Boss and let her speak to him.   The Officer did exactly that.  Here's what it looked like:

I can report exclusively that the person on the other end of that phone call was Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino.   He told Mayor Bass : "We don’t work for you." He went on to tell Bass "You'd better get used to us now, cause this is going to be normal very soon. We will go anywhere, anytime we want, in Los Angeles."

I am told that was slightly less cordial than Mayor Bass was accustomed to.
