At least FOUR law enforcement Helicopters landed in lower Manhattan today, one of which was carrying accused Murderer Luigi Mangione, who has been extradited back from Pennsylvania to face First Degree Murder charges.
In the brief video below, readers can see Helicopters from the New York Police Department (NYPD) New York State Police, FBI, and, presumably, Homeland Security. All landed on Manhattan's lower east side.
Mangione was taken out of one of those helicopters and escorted by NYPD SWAT carrying assault rifles, FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), and Agents from Homeland Security.; Mangione was handcuffed and wearing shackles on his legs, dressed in a bright orange prison overalls. Here's video:
He was placed into a "Paddy Wagon" to be taken to jail. It is likely he will be arraigned in New York City tomorrow.
Mangione is facing multiple charges, including "Murder, First Degree" in the shooting death of the United Healthcare Chief Executive Officer, who was gunned down in Manhattan earlier this month.
UPDATE 10:45 PM EST --
New Yorkers swooned over Luigi Mangione as he was taken off the NYPD Helicopter and walked into Manhattan to be taken to jail. In the video below from the New York Post newspaper, women in the video can be heard saying "We love you baby" and "we love you Luigi."
By treating him this way, the very authorities who are trying to intimidate anyone else from doing what he did, are actually turning this guy into a Folk Hero.

In doing what he did, Mangione showed corporate America there ARE consequences for what they do to people.
Big corporations got the message loud and clear. Probably government, too, but that's just a guess on my part.
