One Year Ago, Today: “FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!”

One year ago today, chaos erupted in Butler, Pennsylvania during a Trump campaign rally, when a lone gunman made an assassination attempt on President Trump. Here’s a look back at the scene.

On July 13, 2024, at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Trump turned to look at a chart when shots rang out from a rooftop. He flinched, touched his ear, saw blood, then ducked behind the podium like it was just another Tuesday.

The FBI confirmed he was grazed by a bullet on the ear.

One year ago today, President Trump was shot while speaking at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. He immediately rose to his feet in defiance and urged his supporters to “fight, fight, fight.” 

Days later, he showed up at the RNC with a bandage and gave his speech anyway.

One bullet. One speech. One wild year since.

Just a few months later, he was elected once again as President of the United States.
