Retarded Bird Attacking (Himself) in my window

Retarded Bird Attacking (Himself) in my window

This morning is day FOUR of a RETARDED Robin Red Breast attacking his own reflection in the glass of my living room Bay Window.

I know Robins get a boost of testosterone in Spring for mating season, and that they are very territorial at this time.  But this particular bird is apparently a RETARD on Testosterone!

He is attacking his own reflection in the glass window, apparently thinking his reflection is another bird intruding upon his territory.

Every few minutes, thump, thump, dink, dink, at my living room window.   The little bird is annoying the crap outta me while I sit at my desk trying to work.

When I walk to the window, he flies away.   I leave, he comes back.

Any suggestions before I have a neighbor take a pellet gun to it?
