Many of you may not be aware that E V E R Y T H I N G in the United States of America, except electricity and natural gas, M U S T - at some point -- move by truck.
Whether it is in the form of raw materials being brought to a factory for processing, or finished goods from factories to Warehouses/Showrooms and ultimately to Customers - at some point EVERYTHING must move by truck.
So when trucking sees any kind of downturn in shipping, that is a VERY significant economic signal. When customers of every kind of product imaginable stop buying, stores or other sellers don't have to re-supply. No need for more trucking if they aren't low on supply.
As seen in the chart above, truck shipment orders are down Year-Over-Year (Y0Y) by 9.6%.
As the trucking industry goes, so does the nation; usually around 90 days of the trucking downturn.
Why aren't people buying? They're run-out of money and out of credit and are struggling to feed themselves and keep a roof over their head.
Why has everything gotten so expensive? Washington, DC.
As Congress spends more and more money it doesn't have, they have to borrow more and more money. But the world is exhausted by US debt. Few if any buyers exist to lend the government money. So the big Bankers and Treasury Auction Houses "Buy" the unsold US Treasury Bonds.
The way they "buy" them is by borrowing from the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve has the US MINT print up more cash. And the entry of that cash into the overall system, waters-down the value of all the other cash.
So everything has to get more expensive just to keep up with a currency that is losing its purchasing power. And it is losing its purchasing power because the men elected to represent us, won't stop spending us into oblivion.
Those politicians you cheer-for; are literally destroying us.
