Active-Duty Soldier from CANADA ARMY Killed in . . . "Latvia"  (or was he Fighting Russia in Ukraine?)

Canadian Armed Forces soldier George Hohl, reported to be a vehicle maintenance technician with the 408 Tactical Helicopter Squadron based in Edmonton, Alberta, was found dead on September 5.

He reportedly went missing on September 2 during a deployment in Adazi, Latvia, as part of Operation Reassurance.

He reportedly was assigned to the aviation battalion of the NATO Multinational Brigade in Latvia, participating in Canada’s ongoing mission of deterrence and defense in Eastern Europe.

(UPDATE: The image above accompanied the source material announcing the death.  Readers note in the comments area below (for subscribers only) that the rank insignia on the man shown in the image, is that of an Officer, despite initial reports claiming he was a "corporal.")
