JAPAN AIR RAID SIRENS SOUND; CITIZENS TOLD "TAKE SHELTER IMMEDIATELY" - NORTH KOREA MISSILE LAUNCHES

Air Raid sirens are sound in Japan as of 7:21 PM EDT here in the USA.  The alert is telling citizens to take shelter immediately, North Korea Missile Launches.

UPDATE 7:31 PM EDT --

Residents of Miyagi, Yamagata, Niigata prefectures ordered to SHELTER IMMEDIATELY

Separation detected in the North Korean missile, which would then make it suspected to be at least an intermediate or long-range missile.

 

UPDATE 7:35 PM EDT --

Ballistic missile has overflown Japan.

 

UPDATE 7:36 PM EDT --

Japan has cancelled their J-alert.

The North Korean missile has overflown Japan and will likely splash down somewhere in the Pacific Ocean.  Not known if headed toward Hawaii.

South Korea believes that North Korea has fired an IRBM or ICBM.
