"Syria has waged several wars against Israel and is ready for new ones," Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad warned during a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart on Sunday.
The Syrian diplomat said that his country was ready to liberate parts of its territory occupied illegally by Israel (Golan Heights), the United States (Conico Oil FIelds) and Turkey (Northeastern Syria / Kurdistan).
Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian traveled to Lebanon and Syria over the weekend to discuss Israeli aggression. In particular, he was received by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, who stressed that by supplying arms to Israel, the US is increasing the risk of the conflict spreading to other countries in the Middle East.
