BREAKING: Official Confirmation that Russia may Invade the BALTICS

For the very first time since the Russia-Ukraine Conflict began in February, 2022, the world has confirmation that additional Russian military action may be taken against the Baltic states.

Last night, Dmitry Rogozin, a Senator in the Russian Federation Council (their version of a Senate) publicly announced:

As things stand right now, in order for Russian citizens to travel from Russia to Kaliningrad - or vice-versa -- those Russians must travel through Latvia, into Lithuania then into Kaliningrad, or through Belarus (a Russian ally and Union State) then through Lithuania or Poland, into Kaliningrad.

Cutting a corridor to Kaliningrad would mean taking a certain amount of land from either Lithuania or Poland . . .  or both, to travel from Russia, through their ally and Union state, Belarus, into Kaliningrad.

Both Lithuania and Poland are NATO members.

If Russia "cuts a corridor" then it necessarily means taking land from either Lithuania or Poland or Lativa or both.  The red line on the map below, shows the issue:

Logically, Russia could offer to BUY a tract of land, but given the pig-headed attitude of the people in Lithuania over the Ukraine problem, they're not apt to consider a sale.  Same with Poland.

Frankly, NATO certainly is not going to sit idly-by and watch Russia "take" a tract of land for such a corridor.  So that leaves war.  A really BIG war.

Now, Russia has undergone quite a warm=up in Ukraine.   The Ukraine conflict showed the weaknesses within Russian logisitics, manufacturing, and tactics.  The Russians learned VERY FAST, and made excellent changes on all levels, and thus, are winning in Ukraine.

While NATO certainly has the logistics and likely the tactics, what NATO no longer has are SUPPLIES.  Specifically, ammunition.

Russia's present war manufacturing makes SEVEN TIMES what all of NATO (combined) can make.

And NATO's stockpiles have run low, or run out, from supplying Ukraine.

So if Russia and the West engage in a war over a tract of land to Kaliningrad, the Russians clearly have the edge because the West lacks the ammunition for a protracted fight.

The UK has barely 24 hours worth of ammunition for its armed forces.  Canada has barely 72 hours of ammunition.  The puny Baltic states, the same.  NATO would not last long.

Either way, such a conflict would be mind-bogglingly bad and would likely see hits on American cities and ports . . . . something Americans have never suffered.

The fact that a prominent Russian Federation Council Member has made such an open, public, statement, gives even the Village Idiot a clue as to what may be coming down the road at all of us.  Take the hint.  Prepare.
